⑧, 螺纹长度:对于公称长度等于或小于表中所列公称长度的螺钉,全螺纹应在接近头部的位置延伸,以使规定指定的螺纹大径极限保持在两个螺距(螺纹)以内或更小(如果可行)。除非另有规定,公称长度大于表中所列长度的螺钉的最小全螺纹长度应等于基本螺钉直径的6倍或1.50英寸(以较短者为准)。

①, 自挤自攻螺钉应由符合表中化学成分要求的镇静钢采用冷镦工艺加工制造。
②, 热处理:自挤自攻螺钉应在气体渗碳设备中热处理。如果采用连续(不是分批)淬火工艺,能够稳定地确保均匀的表面和芯部硬度,需方可以同意采用氰化设备。
最低回火温度应为650℉(343.33℃)。
③, 表面处理:螺钉应镀镉或镀锌,镀层厚度为0.0002~0.0004 英寸;或磷化处理并涂油,为达到性能要求,螺钉表面还可以涂上润滑油,由制造者自行决定。
为避免氢脆,在电镀后,自挤自攻螺钉应尽快在375~450℉温度范围内进行烘烤,最少1小时(在间歇式工艺中通常至可烘烤4小时,以确保一批产品中所有螺钉都经过处理)。如果自挤自攻螺钉交付需方后(或在需方控制下)进行电镀或涂覆,螺钉制造者对电镀或涂覆引起的缺陷不负责任。

≥ 1/4 : 0.005~0.011 in.
④, 抗拉强度:公称长度≥1/2 in或3倍螺钉公称直径(较大值)的六角头和六角头凸缘头自挤自攻螺钉的抗拉强度,应不低于表中规定。长度小于上述尺寸的螺钉及其他头型的螺钉,不进行抗拉强度试验。
⑤, 抗扭强度:在螺钉承受的扭矩低于表中规定的抗扭强度时,螺钉不应损坏。
⑥, 拧入扭矩:根据螺钉规格和表面处理,施加不大于表中规定的拧入扭矩,螺钉应能在试验钢板内成形出相配的内螺纹,而螺钉自身不应变形。
⑦, 紧固扭矩:对于≥6#的六角和六角凸缘螺钉,根据其规定和表面处理,施加不大于表中规定的紧固扭矩时,螺钉应能承受表中规定的紧固扭矩,对于小于6#的螺钉 及其他头型的螺钉,没有紧固扭矩试验要求。
⑧, 保证扭矩:对六角头和六角凸缘头螺钉,根据其规格和表面处理,施加相应保证扭矩,螺钉不应损坏,并能从试验钢板上拧出,对于其他头型的螺钉,没有保证扭矩试验要求。
⑨, 韧性:在螺钉头部支承面和垂直于螺钉轴线的平面之间形成7°永久变形的情况下,螺钉头部于杆部不应断裂。
⑩, 氢脆:对镀镉或镀锌的螺钉应能承受表中规定的相应抗氢脆扭矩而不损坏。
